As we continue to revolutionise the way global businesses do digital marketing in Asia, we’re looking for our first China-based Business Development Representative to join our growth team.

You’ll be responsible for outbound prospecting at trade shows, events, and on digital channels. You’ll also run discovery conversations to understand prospects’ needs and work with our account executives to qualify sales opportunities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious graduate or someone early in their career with a bit of commercial experience looking to jump-start their career in tech sales. Here's what you'll be doing …

Identifying and reaching out to potential prospects across Sinorbis’ target segments in China
Representing Sinorbis at trade shows and exhibitions across China
Conducting outbound prospecting via email, WeChat and phone calls
Networking and building relationships with prospective partners and organisations
Effectively communicating how Sinorbis can address our prospects' challenges
Working closely with the growth team to refine messaging, campaigns and provide feedback on market trends and event performance to inform go-to-market strategy

About You

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Fluent in English, Mandarin skills a plus
Comfortable with a performance based environment, you can own a target and deliver on it.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance
Knowledge about digital marketing is a strong plus
Based in China (ideally close to Shanghai) with the ability to travel regularly
